Johnny Hands — Privacy and Google Data Use
Effective October 24, 2026. Johnny Hands is a personal desktop publishing tool operated by the owner of Next Game Pick. It lets the owner's AI work sessions prepare articles and use the Google Blogger API directly.
Google access and use
The tool requests the Blogger scope to identify the owner's blogs and publish and verify owner-directed content. That Google scope can manage Blogger content across the account; the current article publishing commands implement blog listing, new posts and verification. This application does not request Gmail, Google Drive or contacts access.
Storage and sharing
The OAuth client configuration and refresh token are encrypted on the owner's Windows PC with Windows CurrentUser DPAPI. Access tokens are used for HTTPS requests to Google's API. Tokens are not included in model instructions or publication receipts. Receipts contain article identifiers, titles, public URLs, status and timestamps. When an AI work session uses the tool, non-secret tool results may become part of that session's conversation and be processed by its configured AI service.
This application does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising or training its own AI model. Google API data is used to provide the owner-directed publishing functionality. Its use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.
Control and retention
The owner can revoke the connection in Google Account connections and remove the local encrypted credentials. Local article files and receipts remain until the owner removes them; revocation does not remove articles already published on Blogger. Google and any configured AI provider apply their own service and data policies to their respective services.
For this personal tool, the operator and data owner are the same person. Blog operator information is available on Next Game Pick.
